Manon Gaultier

Born in Guadeloupe in 1974, Manon moved to France when she was twelve. She studied music but has always painted and in the last five years, has dedicated her time to focusing on her paintings.

Her work is heavily influenced still by both music and poetry and the image featured on this page, is of a painting entitled, Ton coeur bat-il toujours à mon seul nom?, which was inspired by a poem by Paul Verlaine. Ton Coeur is one of a series of paintings on a theme of love that are to be published by Heartbreak later this year.
