Her Secret Life is one of a series of images created after Vettriano established a studio in Nice on the French Riviera.  The original painting was exhibited in the both the 2006 exhibition, Love, Devotion & Surrender and in the Vettriano Retrospetive, held at Kelvingrove Gallery & Museum in Glasgow in 2013.
